One of my favorite things to do is get together with family - the WHOLE family! I think that's one of the big reasons why I love the holidays so much. This Sunday, my ENTIRE family (a total of 19 of us - age 59 {Dad} to 1 {nephew, Max}) will get together at a local indoor water park for seven hours of good ol' fashion F-U-N!
The best part? My parents are footin' the bill! So to thank them, I thought it would be nice to make a little water-themed card that my brothers, sister and I could all sign. (
Mom, I know you're reading this. Please act surprised when we give this to you on Sunday. *giggle*)
If you've been following me for any length of time, you probably notice that this isn't my typical style of project. It's fun to try something different every once in a while! I cut the turtle using the
Stretch Your Imagination cartridge and my
Cricut. The water is made up of torn blue card stock. For added pizzazz, I outlined the card base and threw on a few little dots with my white gel pen.

st Edition stamp set,
