MCT What A Treat Wednesday: Kitty Treat Box

Here's some real talk for you: I'm not a big fan of this project. But sometimes you just have to roll with it, ya know? So here I am - rolling.

While I'm not gung-ho on the overall project, I do really like some of the elements I used and hope that you'll take away a few ideas.
  1. You know those clear plastic sheets that your MCT stamps come on? You can use them for projects! I used one for the clear sleeve on this little treat holder.
  2. I used my Stitched 3x4 Journal Die to wrap around the outside sleeve so that the color/design of the chocolate inside didn't interfere with my kitty and saying. Use what you have in different ways.
  3. Stretch your stamps. Not literally. Think outside of the box. The sentiment on my treat box is from Loyal Friends (a dog stamp set), but I used it to go with my kitty.

That's it for me today. Be sure to check out Emma's blog for some awesome treat projects today.

I hope you were inspired!

Adorable!!! Love how you used the woodgrain stamp! But my question is... where are your stamps now???

I think it cute! I have the same question as Kaite.... what happened to your stamps? :)

Thanks, Katie!

Since I often go to crops and camps away from home, I needed a way to store my stamps that was easy to travel with. (I never know which ones I'll need!) So I transfer all of my stamps from their packages to transparency sheets that I store in binders. Maybe I should do a post on that?

Not sure what you don't like with your project. The little kitty is adorable and the Grainy Journal is a nice background for your kitty. Great idea to make use of your stamp acetate. I like the clear slider box cover...like a window it is fun to see the treats inside.
