A couple of years ago, I made this cupcake card for my mother-in-law's birthday. It was inspired by a baking day I had with my niece, Evelyn. You can read more about the card (and our baking extravaganza) here.
And while the card was fine, I never really loved it.
Well, today is the day I get a Do Over!
I swapped out the doily, upgraded from a cupcake to a wedding cake and changed the purpose of the card from birthday to anniversary.
I can now officially say that I love this card!
This Do Over card will be given to my brother and sister-in-law this weekend for their anniversary. Please act surprised, Kim! I was really excited to play with the cake stamp from the new set, Wishing You Both The Best. I kept the colors light and mixed the patterned papers to add some interest.
MCT Products Used
Wishing You Both The Best (cake, flowers, "congratulations")
The Sky Is The Limit (banner stamp + die)
Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies (patterned doily layer)
Bunch of Fun Circle Dies (white, wavy circle layer)
You can see more Do Overs on the MCT blog. Be sure to head over there to see what the other designers have in store.
I hope you were inspired!

MCT 44th Release Blog Hop: Tickled Pink Flamingo Card
by Veronica
Hey there! It's another Release Day with My Creative Time and all of the products are available right now. If you've hopped here from Ruthie's blog, you're on the right track! If not, head on over to Emma's blog to start from the beginning.
Today, I'm featuring the Already Missing You stamp set on a card for my BFF, Stephanie. A few weeks ago, her boyfriend proposed and she's getting married next April!!! I'm so honored to be her Matron-of-Honor.
She's planning a small, intimate gathering with less than 30 people present. I'm told that I won't be walking down the aisle alone, though. The little Bun in my oven will be the ring bearer OR flower girl (we'll find out soon) and I'll need to carry him/her.
Though Stephanie hasn't decided for sure what her wedding colors will be, currently, we're looking at navy and pale pink - perfect for a flamingo card!
MCT Products Used
The Sky is the Limit (banner stamp and die)
New! Already Missing You (flamingos, sentiments) Available Now!

If you order AFTER the 150th shopper, this stamp set will be available for purchase!
UPDATE 6/19 1:35pm PST: Since Emma wasn't able to update the store once the 150th shopper came through, she's extending the freebie die promotion until midnight (PST) TONIGHT, 6/19. MCT Tag It Tuesday: Celebrate Baby Tag
by Veronica
There is something in the water on my street. I'm the SIXTH one to be pregnant this year!!! Yep, we have a lot of celebrating to do around here!
This weekend, I'll be attending my across-the-street neighbor, MaCara's, baby shower. She's 13 weeks ahead of me in her pregnancy and it has been such a blessing having her around. We go for walks together and I love being able to ask her questions. Did you feel (insert wacky pregnancy symptom) when you were (insert number) weeks? Is this normal?
MaCara and her husband decided to not find out the baby's gender, so their theme is gray, yellow and chevron. This tag will adorn their gift basket I'm making them.
MCT Products Used
Tag Dies (yellow tag layer)
Tag Die Layers (white tag layer)
Build a Chevy Background (chevron background stamp)
Classy Girl Accessories (baby carriage)
Chalkboard Birthday ("Celebrate" banner stamp)
Bunch of Fun Circle Dies (acetate circle layer)
To get the baby carriage wheels to be a different color than the carriage itself, I simply cut it out twice (once in gray, once in yellow), cut the wheels off of the yellow layer and adhered that on top of the gray layer. The "Celebrate" banner was colored with my Copics for added dimension and then I fussy-cut it out. No die here, folks!
That's it for me today. Check out Emma's blog to see more great tags from the Design Team.
I hope you were inspired!

MCT Favorite Die of the Month: #TheSkyIsTheLimit Card
by Veronica
I remember hearing my aunts and uncles gasp in surprise when they'd see me after a period of time. "Wow! You've gotten so BIG since I last saw you!" I remember thinking it was pretty funny. To me, time was moving so slowly and I couldn't wait to grow up. Surely, I wasn't that much bigger than last time.
But as an aunt myself (and soon-to-be-mommy), I marvel at how fast time has gone and how BIG my nieces and nephews have gotten. This past weekend, my second-oldest nephew, Chris, graduated from high school. Wow!
This card was created just for him using June's Die of the Month and will be given to him at his graduation party.
MCT Products Used
Stitched "Capture" Frame with Arrow Die June's Die of the Month!
Social Media Dies ("#")
The Sky is the Limit (hot air balloon stamp + die, sentiment)
Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More ("Congrats" die)
That's it for me today - thanks for stopping by! You can see more great projects using June's Die of the Month on Emma's blog.
I hope you were inspired!
