MCT 3D Wednesday: Egg-straordinary Box

by Veronica

Do you love packaging? Not just the 'brown paper packages tied up with strings'... but merchandise packaging... I love it! I've often called myself the 'ultimate consumer' - I'll buy anything if you package it pretty enough. *giggle*

Nowadays, so many things come in neat packaging - especially boxes! I recently upgraded my cell phone (I cracked the screen of my iPhone 4S in March 2012 and JUST NOW got a new phone. Buh-bye shattered screen!), and had the box my old phone came in still laying around. It's such a sturdy box. I figured I'd come up with a use for it one day. Praise the Lord, that day has come!

All it took was some patterned paper, solid card stock, a few stamps (listed below), the Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge and an SU! Build a Brad to bring this treat box together. Oh yeah, don't forget the Cadbury Mini Eggs (The Hubs' favorite part of Easter).

When re-covering boxes, don't forget to line the inside. This really adds a finished touch to it.

Thanks for stopping by today. Head over to Emma's blog to see what the other designers have in store for you.

I hope you were inspired!

  5. I agree about not throwing a good box that could be used and you did a great job decorating it. Hubby will love it! I also save papers that look pretty or shinny like Victoria Secret & Teavana bags and ribbons. I also see wrapping papers as useful for crafting.
