MCT Scrapping the Little Things: Races of 2012

by Veronica

So there I was: sitting at my craft table, staring at the photos of the races I ran in 2012 thinking, I have to make an entire PAGE for each race? But I only have one photo each... And then it hit me. Why does each race need its own page? There are no rules to this.

So instead I created a 'map' layout of all of the 2012 races ordered chronologically. Little arrows guide you around the layout. I wrote small descriptions of fun facts about each race: who ran with us, what happened, what my favorite part was, etc.

  1. I love your LO ideas. I so agree with you re: a page for each race because I sometimes only take a pic or two also or even wish to combine events into a two page LO and U R also correct when you say "Hey there are no rules" absolutely it's all about what you do and how you do it and each and how you chose to use each and every pic when it's in a LO has it's story to be told and that's what's so amazing about scrapbooking it's a journey telling a story page by page and it's the creator of these pages that's choosing how to tell the story and the journey you took us on your LO was fun so thanks for sharing your journey and loved how you used all of MIss Emma's goodies and also loved what you did and how you did it. Now sorry about all my rambling but just sharing because scrapping all the little thing in life is my passion.

  3. You did a wonderful job using many races on your pages. Still plenty of room for what you needed to journal for each and if not you could tuck a tag behind. Wow...think of how much you have accomplished! I love how healthy and happy you look. Congratulations!
