MCT Made In Minutes: Party Animal Birthday Card

by Veronica

Hey there! It's another Made In Minutes day with the MCT design team. If you've ever crafted with me, you know that NOTHING is ever "made in minutes" by my hands. I'm not a very efficient crafter. But theoretically, this card could be made in minutes if I chose to make it again. Does that count?

This card was sent to my Grandma last week for her birthday. See, Grandma? I told you that your card hadn't been posted on my blog yet! Tada! I used several MCT dies to give this card dimension and texture. The modern color scheme really make it pop.

MCT Products Used
Let's Celebrate ("PARTY" dies)
Stitched Party Dies (banners)
You Had Me At Meow (cat)
Birthday Buddies (hat)
Alpha Pack ("ANIMAL")
Bunch of Fun Circle Dies (wavy circle layer)

My little flufferbottom, Harley
I colored the kitty with my Copics and tried my best to make him look like my own kitty, Harley.

That's it for me today! You can see more projects that you can Make In Minutes on Emma's blog.

I hope you were inspired!

  1. Your card is Adorable....I love the colors and the polka dots and triangle patterns....Your Grandma's birthday card is so sweet.
You did a great job coloring the kitty and your littler Harley is adorable. definitely a fluffy cuddly kitty. Loved your grandma card story tooo cute you always have a sweet story to share. Yes it counts regarding it took you a long time to make your card but said it would be done quick someone else. I am not a quick crafter either so it's still made in minutes because there are 60 minutes in an hour so right!! LOL.....so what if you took 240 minutes hey made in minujtes LOL
You are the best!! YOU so ROCK!!

  2. LOVE your fun card Veronica!!!!!! your kitty looks awesome!!!! How cute is Harley too!!!!!

  3. Veronica ~ just so darn ADORABLE!! LOVE the design and the way you used all the products ~ Harley is too CUTE too! Fabulous job!!

  4. I like how you explained your made in minutes technique...I can totally relate as nothing comes from my hands in minutes ever! That said I will agree if you were to make it over now that the decisions have been made it should count. The dimension on your card is great and I like how you arranged the die cuts. Your kitty turned out great...looks very much like Harley. Love her green eyes...so pretty. Great job on your card...I am sure your Grandma loved it.
